"When Barb and I moved from northern California back home to south Texas in 2001, we soon learned that we had to modify our newly-developed wine drinking routine.  We found out the hard way that we couldn’t just set our wine glasses down while out on our patio in the evening.  If we did, we usually ended up sharing our glass with one or two gnats.  So we improvised covers with cocktail napkins, cd cases, paperback books and even upside-down coffee filters.  Nothing worked well until I made the first prototype of the wine-tapa.  We kept refining it, and began producing it in the fall of 2008.  We hope you enjoy it!”
